Liz,

I'm glad that some of my favorite passages have helped to encourage you. Our Lord is amazing in every way. When I'm discouraged or feeling impatient about something. I take encouragement from this passage.

<blockquote><a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm%2037:7;&version=31;" rel="nofollow">Psalm 37:7</a> - Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.</blockquote>

Sometimes the best thing we can do is to still our heart and minds and rest and wait in the Lord. This can be very difficult to do but can be amazingly peaceful if we can do it.

Keep trusting in the Lord and He will not forsake you or I. Don't be afraid to come back and visit my blog again and maybe give me some encouragement :D.

God Bless!

I have been struggling lots with purpose lately, I have been feeling stuck in my same routine and unable to break it. I feel like God is telling me that I need to stay where I am right now, just for a little longer.. That wonderful things are yet to come, and most of the wait is over - Closer than I've ever been before. I found these verses in Proverbs, and they've brought me great comfort, although I remain somewhat impatient.

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9

It is better to be patient than powerful; it is better to have self control than to conquer a city. We may throw the dice, but the Lord determines how they fall. Proverbs 16:32-33

How can we understand the road we travel? It is the Lord who directs our steps. Proverbs 20:24

Thanks, again, for this site. It is a great encouragement, and it's nice to be able to share what the Lord is doing in my life with a perfect stranger, knowing that we have the bond of brothers and sisters through Christ.

God bless!

Thanks Liz for the encouragement as well as showing me that passage. It's one that I've read numerous times and it encourages us to submit to Christ all of our daily struggles and triumphs, to unite with Him in everything. This is encouraging so I have added it to the page.

Thank you for taking the time to comment and may God Bless you and continue to lift you up and strengthen your faith. I hope to see you back as well.

This really is great. I have read through all of them, recognizing some well, but others not so much. I was just looking for some encouragement, and I came across this.. Thank you!

One of my favourites:

Colossians 2:6-7

And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust him, too, for each day's problems; live in union with him. Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done.

It's my pleasure to share what inspires me and moves me in God's Word. If you have any passages that inspire you feel free to add them via comment. I could always use more favorites!
