Well that might be fairly easy then, just have to find a dimmer rated for ceiling fans, or buy a regular switch and replace the dimmer with that. One question on your ceiling fan dimmer. Is there more than one switch to control the ceiling fan? Or is there only one?

Our lights are dimmer lights, but the Ceiling Fan is also on a dimmer switch, but not one rated for ceiling fans.

I would Aadel however unless your local code allows it I am not allowed to do wiring in your home unless I am licensed or am the homeowner. You say it is wired for dimmer switches or wired with dimmer switches? Most cases it is wired with dimmer switches however the lights/bulbs aren't rated for dimmer switching and you have burned up bulbs quite frequently (which was our case). Or the fixture and bulbs create weird humming noises.

You can come work on our house! LOL, our basement family room is wired for dimmer switches, even the ceiling fan. The inspector told us that the fan was not wired correctly, so we have been unable to use it.

Sounds like you are enjoying working on the new house!

Love, Aadel
