Blue Poem

Posted by On April - 6 - 2009

I’ve been thinking blue lately… and stumbling upon a poetry prompt this evening sparked this poem:

Blue in the morning & Blue at night,

fresh blue dewdrops in the bright morning light.

Archway of golden covers the land,

Blue into white on the glistening sand.

Yellow through treetops lightens the way,

Orange beating down in the heat of the day.

Peaches and Corals, evening  to night,

Give way to blue as sun slips out of sight.
