Quiverfull Testimonies

What does it mean to be quiverfull?

The Quiverfull lifestyle is a movement among conservative evangelical Protestant Christians. Roman Catholics and some others might refer to the Quiverfull position as Providentialism. Those who hold this position do so not in an attempt to simply have large families but to leave in the hands of the Lord God Almighty His sovereignty and authority over the womb. The distinguishing viewpoint is to eagerly receive children as blessings from God, abandoning all forms of contraception, including natural family planning and sterilization.

The subject of natural family planning in being quiverfull is debatable, but nonetheless… My husband and I have chosen this as God’s will for our family.

I came across a wonderful compilation of Quiverfull testimonies @ MamaArcher’s Blog that I would love to share with you.

Check it out here!

I won’t try to convince you to PRACTICE systematic NFP, but I think everyone should LEARN how it works. In the case of a true medical emergency, it may be a matter of presumption rather than providence to engage in the marriage act and more or less require God to work a miracle to avoid what can be clearly foreseen. In such serious cases, systematic NFP may be preferable to sustained abstinence.
I hope that you yourself practice and encourage others to practice ecological breastfeeding (EBF). It is, after all, God’s own plan for spacing babies. In our studies, American women doing EBF averaged 14 tp 15 months before their first postpartume period. For more information, see Part Three of our NFPHowTo manual at our website, and read my wife’s book, “Breastfeeding and Natural Child Spacing.”
    Peace,
